土竜　このお面は能面の「真蛇（しんじゃ）」というお面を参考にデザインしました。
　　
真蛇とは嫉妬のあまり鬼からさらに進化し、ほとんど蛇の姿と化した女性の怨霊を表す最も罪深い面です。耳がなくなり口が耳まで裂けて舌が覗くなっているのが特徴です。
真蛇の蛇特徴を多く含ませましたが、完成して眺めているうちに、なんとなく龍にも見えてき
ました。そこで、土の中に潜ることができる蛇（土）と龍（竜）を合わせて、土竜（どたつ）にしました。
　　
本来は土竜（もぐら）とも読みますが、この豚鼻がモグラに見えないこともないなと思います。

Dotatsu: This mask was designed based on the Noh mask known as the "Shinja."

The Shinja is the most sinful mask, representing the vengeful spirit of a woman who, driven by jealousy, has evolved from an oni to almost snake-like form. Its distinctive features include a missing ear and a mouth that extends to its ears, revealing its tongue.

I incorporated many of the snake-like characteristics of the Shinja, but after I finished it and looked at it, it somehow began to resemble a dragon.

So, combining the elements of the snake (earth) and dragon (ryu), which can burrow into the earth, I came up with the name Dotatsu.

The name is also pronounced "mole," but this pig nose makes it look like a mole.
